Viognier 2024, Domaine des Frères Couillaud, Bio

The Frères Couillaud enjoy exploring new paths. Since 1997, they have dedicated part of their estate to an experimental vineyard planted with unusual grape varieties for the Nantais region: Viognier, Petit Manseng, Muscat Petit Grain, Sauvignon Gris, and Pinot Gris. The wines produced from this vineyard are released under the label “Frères Couillaud Private Collection.”
Unexpected and surprising, this Viognier wine is a true favorite. The Viognier reveals itself with charming notes of fresh grapes, apricot, and violet.
You can enjoy it with scallops, grilled fish, or lightly spiced dishes such as Asian cuisine, but it is also perfect simply as an aperitif.
